OK, I was intrigued by the visiting nurse comment since a house being inhabited by an invalid who needed visiting health care seemed like an odd thing to say in a realtor’s description. Turns out that “Visiting Nurses” is a charitable organization in the area that runs a thrift store, etc. Might be good for the realtor to either leave that out, explain, or at the very least capitalize the words so people get the idea that it’s an organization that runs a home tour.

I just love that leaded glass window shot that looks over the Wisteria in the yard!

The kitchen doesn’t excite me, but the pantry sure does.

The outside looks very well maintained and pretty flawless. There are a lot of great features and a lot of potential in a superficially blah looking interior. A little paint, rip out some carpet…it could so easily be a wonderful interior. I’m sorry, but I’d have to paint that knotty pine in the bathroom. And find some kind of mixer tap on the charming corner sink.

Would be fun to take the kitchen back to a 1910 look!

In my opinion, the house is great, except for the kitchen. It is a complete do over.
I would get rid of all the carpet and try to match the other flooring.

I would not want people going through my bedroom to go to the bathroom at all hours… And I’d want to know if that back porch/laundry room has heat for winter time; I’d hate to have frozen pipes to deal with in winter. Love the butler’s pantry and dining room, would want to redo the whole kitchen, that is not a “modern” kitchen to me. But love the location and the grounds of the house…
