    As a proud UConn alumnus, I will tell you that this is about as close to campus as you can get for private housing. Be forewarned: For nine months out of the year, Route 195 is a traffic nightmare. But during breaks, it’s very nice. You would be within walking distance of Storrs Center, which is a new “downtown” area with a number of restaurants and stores, and walking the other way is the university farm (including Horsebarn Hill … look it up; it’s gorgeous) and the Nipmuc Trail.

    This is a good listing (cute house, by the way) for me to get back on my soapbox about listing photos. Not only are these blurry (no excuses with today’s technology), but it would have taken all of five minutes to make the beds and move the boxes of stuff (like on the table) out of the frame of the photo. “sigh”
