Located at the corner of OH 534 & US. Rt. 322 this building sees a lot of traffic. Bring your ideas, this Old girl needs a facelift. It is part of the National Historic Register of Historic Places, in the Windsor Corners District. Built in 1870 as the Elk Hotel, sometime later it became a popular antique shop, a restaurant named the Switching Post and residential apartments on the second floor. In the 1950's it housed the Windsor Telephone Company Switchboard Operator. Dances were hosted on the second floor and the wooden flooring is still intact. Seller has removed most of the lath and plaster. Vandals have kindly removed the copper wiring, pipes and scrap metal leaving this old girls bones exposed. Considered Mixed Use - Commercial /Residential. Windsor Has "NO Zoning". The well and rear parking is shared with post office next door. Septic tank is in place but will most likely need to be replaced. Water and Electric are off. Buyers to do their due diligence with county zoning for future use of property. Selling "As Is Where Is". Sellers will not make any repairs. Approximate location of Property Lines have been marked and may not be accurate. Tax records indicates a garage on this property, but it has been removed.
