Grand and impressive in its day, this Queen Anne style home is yearning for a new owner who will revive her back to her original beauty. Known for her turret dome, wrap-around porch with turned posts, decorative brackets, and spindlework on the exterior and an abundance of large spacious rooms on the interior. Although much work is needed, there's still so much potential. Too many amenities to mention, but some unique features must be noted such as a butler's pantry and bell station in the kitchen along with a rear discrete staircase to the second floor. Quality hardwood floors, woodwork, doors and fireplaces, most in exceptional condition. Truly a gem in the rough with many possibilities, this property is zoned B-3 (General Business). Sold as is ; cash only; no repairs.

Looking at this house and the one that was across the street I have to think this was quite the neighborhood in it’s day. I hate to think of what was lost. I think this is near the top of my favorites ever on this site.

I’ll happily buy the light fixtures on the mantle with the reverse painted shades; and that uber rad Goth floor lamp! Yes please!

The house has good bones in spite of the sterile vinyl siding that hides it’s true beauty. Fortunately the inside, while suffering some damage and neglect looks more promising. Those tile floors in the bathrooms are impressive!

Makes me wish I was young again so I could do the restoration!

  8. Poor house all lonely and sad. I hope someone takes pity on her and treats her right.

    The potential is outstanding.
