The dramatic 1887 Nephtali Grumbach house with notable tall, open gabled porch, has three large bedrooms upstairs, large formal den, living & dining rooms downstairs and two apartments in the rear. Large stairwell floor area (14x9) in addition to large foyer. Intricately carved double front storm doors and original double glass paned interior front doors. There is also a garage apartment in the original carriage house. Beautiful wood floors throughout and much original architectural detailing with newel posts, stairwell ceiling, and door & trim detailing. There is a butler's pantry, rear staircase, upstairs laundry room. There is no central air or heat, but the house is very liveable as it is now. Located in the East End Historical District.
