Way off the road, up a gentle hill, this Italianate-style 19th century homestead awaits its new owner. The house is three full stories with 11 foot ceilings downstairs. Three bedrooms share the second floor, and 4 more are up top on the third. Climb the ladder up to the decked widows walk, then savor the sweeping views of lawns and mature hardwood trees. The Elk River comes into view after the leaves drop. There is a detached two-car garage and springhouse. Solid stone foundation with wine cellar in basement. Over seven acres of quiet beauty that cannot be subdivided. The house needs major work and is to be sold in as-is condition. Great location just two minutes south of US RT 40.
