Comment from Samantha: “I just went to see this house now that its back on the market. A tree fell on the corner od the home where the kitchen is. Its currently listed for under 100k. It is a BEAUTIFUL home. Most everything in it looks original. All the bedrooms jave the small fireplaces.there is a claw tub in it tjat can be repaired. Its really an amazing house. I hope someone gets it tjat can afford to restore it soon otherwise it might be torn down.”

Curious about the rear addition that’s been demolished and tarped. Possibly that tree did more the just put a hole in the roof. Certainly a salvageable and worthy project for someone!

In the old pics linked, photo 3 I’m guessing is the tree that fell and splattered that whole section.

It waa a tree that fell on it. The man that bought gave up on restoring it after that. So tjat part of the house is the entire kitchen, an upstairs room, and another room. Since its juat sitting there in the rain like tjat the water damage is spreading to otjer parts of the home and made it too expensive for us to be able to fix it

Apparently not. All we were told was he bought it as an investment property And a few months into it the tree fell it was clear a family with small boys were living there when it happened. The sad thing is its just been abandoned with the tarp not keeping the weather out so its ruining the rest of the home.

The street view shows what the house looked prior to the damage the tree did. Looks like a pretty big tree. The house looks very charming. I’d love to see the addition restored.

How very sad to see all that damage. The old photos showed a very nicely done home. I hope they can get it restored.
