State: Georgia
Old homes in Georgia have a way of showing their history without needing to explain it. Folk Victorians bring scrollwork and spindles to small-town streets. You’ll still find heart pine floors, thick doors, and chimneys built by hand. Some houses are rough around the edges, others carefully restored — but most still hold something original, whether it’s a porch ceiling painted haint blue or a pattern in the floorboards that tells you where the kitchen used to be. These homes weren’t made to impress. They were made to last.
Note: Listings include homes that are for sale, pending, sold, or off market. To view only what’s currently for sale, use the search filter. It’s in the top menu on phones and on the right side of the page on desktop.
