    awwwwww!!! I love the design of this cutie. The woodwork is beautiful. The blue and white wall papered bedroom reminds me of my grandma and grandpa’s house, almost identical, with the twin beds side by side 🙂 This is so cute.

    Without question, this is another George F. Barber designed home. It is one of several in New Harmony. This is the John and Amanda Wilson residence and it is an example of design 35-E from Barber’s “Modern Dwellings” series of pattern books, the third edition which was published in 1901. Lovely home with wonderful details. Perhaps the next homeowner will un-enclose the porch pavilion which would really enhance the curb appeal of this gem. Thanks Kelly, for posting this beauty.

    My two favorite things about a Barber home are the fireplaces and the staircase. I’m sad there wasn’t a picture of either!
    What a pretty house, though. I’d love to see what’s under the carpet …
