If you're looking for a small, private, wooded recreational tract with a cabin in the country, you're going to want to check out this secluded property near Martin, SC. It sits approximately 14 miles northwest of Allendale, 16 miles southwest of Barnwell, 4 miles northeast of the Savannah River, and is actually closer to Millett, SC than it is to Martin. The property features an old pre-1900 wood cabin, which features a metal roof, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room with wood heater, storage room, front and back porches, and was fully occupied up until a little over 1 year ago. The cabin does need some TLC and some finish work, and is being sold AS-IS. There is also an open wood shed out back behind the small fenced backyard. The majority of the parcel is heavily wooded with beautiful mature hardwoods throughout. The only areas that are not wooded, besides the homesite/yard, are one field beside the homesite that could be planted as a wildlife food plot or large garden, and 3 other small food plot areas where deer stands have previously been established. The rest of the deer stands consisted of small climbers or ladder stands hidden back in the hardwoods area. This property has a natural bottom and drain that runs through the center of it, that is currently dry, but could potentially hold or provide flow for a small amount of water during wet-weather months. One thing about this property that makes it even more beautiful when walking around and through the hardwoods, is its natural roll and slope of the terrain. Some of this can be captured in the photos, but it is hard to truly understand the extent of it until walking the whole thing in person. There is over 1,500 feet of paved road frontage on Hwy 125, and currently two entrance drives in place. This area is known for its wildlife population and great hunting, including but not limited to Whitetail deer and Eastern wild turkey. This property has a high usability for various recreation and types of outdoor activities, and will make someone a nice private getaway in a very rural area. The property is surrounded and bordered by larger agricultural landowners, including Creek Plantation.

Structural fixes and a good clean of the house plus some newer appliances and maybe a bathroom redo but with a light hand. This is a gorgeous place and there are so few like it any more. It would be an adventure to walk that acreage every day. I am sure it’s full of wildflowers and birds.

All that for 120k? Makes me wonder if poltergeist stacked those chairs on the table! I’d buy it just to find out, if I could.
