This is a reader share. I linked up top (under the links section) to the gallery with more photos.
Wow! It looks like next to nothing has been muddled in this place since the day it was built! So cool that the annunciator and is still in the kitchen!
I have seen this listing before. If memory serves me well I believe it is currently used for office space, perhaps a law office. Taken good care of, but the wall units indicate no central air. I expect Oklahoma gets pretty toasty. A magnificent property with a price reflective of the area. Not much to do in order to peel back the law office feel.
Not surprising is this area to find out the house was built for an oil producer, Eugene R. Black, a native of Virginia. Black lived here with just his wife Lena, and after her early death, a single servant. He remarried and moved to Tulsa before 1940.

I’m a sucker for these interwar houses with tile roofs and large, luxurious roof overhangs.

Wow! $480k for a mansion with a pool!? Sold!
My jaw dropped when I saw the view of the back of the house with the pool! This house style is so gorgeous and grand! Oh, if only I could have all of the houses that you show us, Kelly!
