Thanks NonaK for sharing!
The main house is also for sale: https://www.oldhousedreams.com/2017/01/02/1928-tudor-revival-paragould-ar/
I want both!!!!!!!!
Cute and fun! For about the same price, you could get a used single-wide – maybe.
House across the street with ZERO curb appeal cracked me up!

Oh my goodness! Your comment made me laugh! Why in the world would someone do that????
It looks like there’s a fairly steep grade there so the other side probably has a decent face to it. The comment is still as accurate as can be! Zero curb appeal from the street, lol.
You can buy both for about $80k and who wouldn’t!!!! They need some work to restore both and maybe make the bathrooms so you don’t have to sit on the toilet to wash your feet in the tub and hands in the sink but doable. The outside of both are very nice. The house across the street looks like a basement that never got the upper floors and so someone put a roof that would drain away rain. Apparently no zoning. The carriage house could be a recreation room and can you imagine how much fun kids would have with the tunnel.
I agree about your comment on the bathrooms. It gave me a laugh trying to picture it! Even though both properties need work, it seems like a good price.
Ok I actually laughed out loud when I looked. Very funny!
which house owns the tunnel?

I guess up into the property line for each. Or one person could buy both and own the whole thing.
Both homes great investment income properties, can get the duplex spiffed up in bathrooms and make kitchenettes and rent them out while you remodel connecting home, very little money can fix all of them up. Or flip them! I’d love to do it just waiting on another flip we have up for sale.
ME
No flipping please. Just loving restoration and appreciation for both structures.
I looked at this place about 8 years ago when it was for sale. It was both properties for 87,000 then, and they were in way better shape. There used to be beautiful Chandeliers if I remember right ( I could be wrong though lol) . Sad to see how the buyer back then must have treated them.
Would you recommend these houses to someone looking for a unique fixer-upper?
I wonder how long the tunnel is ?
