    Interesting house.

I, too, am always curious about frame additions to brick structures. This has possibilities.

Lots of potential on this one! I agree it is hard to see past all the stuff! Seems like there are some beautiful rooms just waiting to be restored to elegance. The somewhat stripped dining room gives me a glimpse of what it could be…Love the exterior.

This one has good bones, and needs some astute attention to be brought back to glory, but I like it.

I would love to restore & highlight the Greek Revival-ness in this house. It could be very handsome & graceful & gracious. The clapboard addition is odd, as others have noticed. If I could buy this place & had plenty of funds, I’m not sure whether it would survive my renovation, unless somebody helped me find a way to integrate it better with the main house. The window depths show nice old thick walls & with the GR millwork, it’s fun to imagine what could be done.

I see ghosts of something on the bricks — do any of our experts have ideas as to what? Above the eyebrow window on the side, there seems to be a curved pattern across the entire wall.

It looks like they bricked up the opening to the fireplaces in the bedrooms. Considering the age, I doubt they were decorative as they are now.

I like the second fireplace surround, the one in what looks like maybe a dining room. Not sure what it’s called but I hesitate to call it a mantle since it’s not really one. Carvings are lovely.

I love the witch’s hat on the hook, haha.

I had to study that witch’s hat on the hook for a minute. At first glance I thought it was a raven.

This house is simply wonderful! I love the stairs and windows and all the wallpaper! The house looks comfortable and loved. I even like the kitchen!

This beauty and the gem to the far right of it seem to be the most grand and historic homes in Osceola. Too bad Google van drove through on such a rainy day. This sits across from some not so pretty businesses but some bushes and attractive fencing could solve that. A great buy!
