Ahh, Shaker Heights is pretty much my Mecca! So many older homes that are priced reasonably, but taxes are quite high. I grew up near here, and that part of Cleveland seems to be on the up-swing. Young professionals tend to move to this area as you get a lot for your money and are close to so much the city has to offer.

This Tudor style home is very typical for the area – in fact, the tudor could be Shaker Heights’ trademark.

Forgive my ignorance, but what’s a “POS violation?” that they’re expecting the buyer to assume?

Honestly, I was wondering the same thing, so do not know, BUT, my guess would be perhaps Point of Sale violations, such as any code violations etc.

Nice, older home, but I wish they would show more pics of the interior.
It looks to me like some of the hardwood flooring needs to be stripped
and resurfaced, but a very fine home to have!

Shakah Heights! I lived there in ’67-’68 while going to CCC. Lived in an apartment near the Square. My great-grandmother lived there for years. My sister told me it has gone downhill, which is a shame because it was the tony neighborhood on the east side when I grew up in Willoughby…

Nice place, needs some serious sprucing and it’s on the Rapid tracks. But the price seems right.

Oh that bathroom! And PLEASE don’t “open kitchen into family room”!!

A little spit shine is all it needs, it really has great bones and not a lot of hard updating. That bathroom is terrific and all the woodwork and fireplace … Gorgeous!
