The door and porch look older than 1930. Sometimes I’m hesitant on changing the build date even if some elements appear older, I always wonder if there’s a story behind the newer build date that we may not know.

Really cool! Seems nearly untouched, or at least not ruined.

I really like the bead board and the height of the ceilings. If I could only live in the country!

Beautiful house and property only a half hour to the capital. Love most everything about it and could fix the rest.
This place reminded me of that magic moment about 7 pm on Friday when you pull into your place, get a cold one and put your feet up.

Leesville is charming. I grew up about an hour from there in Irmo. Lots of unspoiled areas like this still remain. And they have the best barbecue around there…..Shealy’s!

Lovable house I’d like to fix up to its inviting potential. I’m a sucker for beadboard. There’s a lonely feeling to it, though — I see hard times during the Depression when I look at it. We live not far away from Leesville & Jeannette is right, the country in that part of the state is generally open & antique, but still finding its way after the mills left. The price of this house seems a little optimistic to me regardless of its location near Columbia.

I bet that screen door closes with a delicious bang! 🙂

This home and land are great, but like some of the other commenters ,some of the features look older than 1930. Saying that, what a cool house with bones.

I would definitely need to add a bath or two, yet keeping the integrity of the home. However looking at the bathroom already in place I can see the original bath tub was replaced
