Good bones, but some obvious work is needed on this one. Covington (and next door Newport, KY) are right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio. Quite a few workers go across the Interstate bridge every day from Covington to Cincinnati and back. The built in Renaissance Revival pier mirror and Renaissance Rev. style cornice mantel over-mirror are real treats. Seeing a partially removed mantel as in the “yellow” room always makes me nervous but Covington is generally believed to be a safer community to live in than inner city Cincinnati. If that 5,193 sq. ft. measure is accurate then this is a huge house. I won’t touch on the asking price but will offer that to fully restore this large house might take far more than the asking price, in my opinion.

A great house but location maybe?? But the price seems good but yes lots of change with deep pockets to restore this beauty. Stairs looks in good shape. 🙂

Solid.. Beautiful woodwork – mostly untouched. Gorgeous later art crystal windows in that upper bath. And a summer kitchen to boot! Great price… Here’s a project well worth someone’s money and effort. Looooove those floor length windows. Sweet!

Covington is not a bad area. Many people live here and go across the river to cinci. I love this area. Im currently in Columbus Ohio But love coming down to Cinci for Kings Island.

This house is so gorgeous! The street is filled with houses just like it as well as many old restaurants. There’s so many beautiful details as well! I noticed that they took it off the market before it was sold. I wonder what happened? 🙁
