This diamond in the rough has great potential for the historic home enthusiast! The Bazemore-Newby House is number 41 in the Vienna Historical Preservation's Walking Tour of Homes. The Folk Victorian home, which has been updated with central heat and air, features timeless architectural adornments such as the the wide oak front door with stained glass, embossed terne metal ceiling tiles in the Hall, Parlor Room and Dining Room, stained wainscoting, wide-plank stained floors and four fireplaces with bevele d glass mirrors and ornamental glazed tile facings. Notably, the stately Parlor Room is situated off of the front porch and could accomodate many uses. The front porch has been completely renovated.
