Where deer come to water. Own a piece of history. The Maahcooatche Store first came into existence in 1932. The store has since closed but with a little work could be restored to its former glory. The store was featured in the movie ''Stand by Me''. Live on site in the 2,000 sq/ft. 3 bedroom 1 bath home on the second level. Home features hardwood floors, original red fir beams and redwood lined walls with wood from Arcata. 200 amp electrical service. Roof was resealed in 2023. Water rights from Hat Creek out of the irrigation ditch which runs through the property. Property has been in the family since the 1920's.
