The Byrne House at 309 S Commerce, a Colonial Revival Style, was built as the residence for the Henry Francis Byrne family Construction probably began in 1910. The Byrne House is historically distinguished as one of the few , if not the only substantial residence built in downtown Natchez after the invasion of the boll weevil in 1907.This two story home has an attic and a basement in addition to a separate garage that is used for storage and attached shop.The beveled stained glass features in this home glow with a kaleidoscope of colors.
