This 1 story hip-roofed Federal/Greek Revival style house consists of an original T-plan of 2 front rooms arranged about a center hall.Early shed-roofed additions filled in the space on either side. The house retains plain wood weatherboards, & 9 over 9 sash wood windows.The P.E. Hervey House is on the State & National Registry of Historic Homes. Built in the mid 1850's, it has 12' ceilings, 2 br's w/ fireplaces, kitchen, laundry room, DR with fp, large entry and sitting room.
