219 Winthrop Center Rd, Winthrop, ME 04364
Remarks: One owner, yes one owner, since 1883 the lovingly cared for Winthrop Center Friends Church. This amazing place has over 3897 square feet of space for you to use as you see fit. This church has been meticulously cared for and updated as the years have gone by. The large foyer entry has a handicapped entrance with composite decking, and double doors lead from the foyer to the large meeting room-sanctuary-auditorium that is two storey and 36 x 41. Gorgeous two storey windows with stained glass bathe the room in natural light. A very special pipe organ commands a presence in this meeting room. Multiple double doors open to the adjacent kitchen and dining area that is perfect [for what?].The fully applianced kitchen is 17 by 10.4 and the dining hall is 31.8 by 17. Lots of room to gather and be with one another in this special place. A half bath is also on this first floor. The second floor also has four sets of bi-fold doors that overlook the meeting room-sanctuary-auditorium. This greatly increases the powerful room below for all types of functions. There are two large meeting rooms on this level that are heated separately. Gorgeous arch windows adorn these two meeting rooms that are 10.1 by 23.2 and 11.4 by 21.5 respectively. An additional storage room is also on this level and it is 10.1 by 18.5. Easy to add heat if you want another room. This floor has 2892 square feet of usable space. The exterior of the building is vinyl-sided and in great shape .There are two means of entrance and exit from the upper floor.. A composite decked rear staircase and a side entrance on the first floor provide egress along with the grand front entrance. The parking area can accommodate a large group of people and cars and is paved. Like a mighty oak the basement is solid and has over 3068 feet of full height storage. Even the attic space is impressive with beautiful windows and additional space that could be another 3068 square feet. All this plus a working bell tower.
