In NE North Carolina a small town with a S bridge and where Carolina Moon was written stands this piece of History dating back to 1820. This house is perfect to make your own and bring back to its glory. A corner lot has some original out buildings. Looking for a small town and a part of History then this is a must to see. Historical notes on the Benjamin Barry House state the house was built back in 1820 by Benjamin Barry a tailor, then the property was sold in 1849 to James W. Mullen. The single - pile two story east wing was probably added shortly after he acquired the property.
