311 E King St, Edenton, NC 27932
Built in l901, this farmhouse was moved from rural Chowan County to Edenton's Historic District. It was completely restored in 2002 preserving the charm of the old and adding the convenience of the new. Original heart pine floors, moldings, clapboards, beadboard ceilings, mantels, doors, and windows remain. The Daniel T. Ward home was featured in This Old House Magazine before and after renovation. Outside, inviting front and back porches overlook the acclaimed Mill Village just a couple of blocks from the bay & downtown, and there is a wired storage building that could be a studio/ workshop.
