This would be a nice home even without the acreage but with the added 4.5 acres it’s a very attractive property. The house needs some TLC (check out the area where the cracks radiate out diagonally from the doorway for settlement) and upgrades but looks fairly sound overall. As always, due diligence is recommended for potential buyers. FYI, streetview leaves a lot to be desired but it dates from 2009.

I did notice the cracks. It looks to be the original plaster walls so is this settling that’s happened over it’s lifetime and cracks never addressed properly or foundation issues? I agree about due diligence as far as proper inspections but it is quite a lot of home for the price…..with the exception of an overload of pink carpet!

This house pulls at my heartstrings. Something about the way it sits on a knoll and of course the turret just draws me to it.

Dibs on the window nook beyond the lower stair landing. I’d spend all my free time there with a few plants, a comfy chair, and a lamp to read by…

  4. Where are the bathrooms? Outside with a half-moon on the doors and Sears Roebuck catalogues? Can you imagine the lineup outside the bathroom doors if the six bedrooms equate to 8 kids and two parents? Yikes! Chicken house sounds fun. Pink carpet has to go. Probably hiding, hopefully, some pretty neat wood flooring.

Great house! I love the entry and staircase. Hopefully, there are beautiful floors under those red/pink rugs! Did anyone else notice the wind turbines in the background? How noisy would those be?
