You could come home to a centerpiece of Lafayette history and continue loving ownership of this historic local icon. This home was painstakingly maintained in accordance with a City of Lafayette historic district and is plaqued by the Wabash Valley Trust as the Perrin-Wymer-Mork House. Built to be the estate of John Perrin in 1880, this two story mansion features much of the original woodwork still in place. Skillfully recreated period reflective hand-made wallpaper on the walls and ceilings throughout with other carefully selected finishes such as early style recreations of switches and fixtures and hammered metal kitchen sink sit complimentary to original solid surface sink tops in the bedrooms, winding grand entry staircase, and three main floor hearths. The detached garage was artfully designed to and built new in 2016 to reflect the image of the home and carriage houses of the era. Just a short walk to the beginning of the Main Street retail district and 2 miles to Purdue University Campus. Interior square foot measurements were borrowed from Tippecanoe County public record.
