You bet! Those original kitchen cabinets and sink are incredible. And the bathroom medicine cabinet is a keeper. Love the garage, too.

That kitchen is to kill for! Add all the built ins and woodwork, beautiful lot and oodles of floor space and did I mention steam heat? I’m outa here. Illinois here I come.

Cute house; it had me at the built-in bench next to the front door! Rip up the carpeting – there must be HW floors underneath, have a breakfast nook set custom-made, some paint &/or wallpaper, & one’s good to go! (Assuming there aren’t any hidden flaws.) For a very reasonable price.

Oh, and there well may be HW flooring underneath the vinyl flooring in the kitchen. My house was also built in 1920, and that was the case here.

That bathroom in the basement is a woot. My Mom had one like this in her basement. I was kind of weird using it though with no walls.

**so** much original stuff still intact, and looks well cared for too boot. No stripping needed here. Fix up a better area for the stove and fridge and the kitchen is ready as is (I agree- those cabinets are hard to find and great!). so much great about this home.

Agreed on the kitchen cabinets, here’s to hoping the next owner appreciates them enough to keep them as is (no white paint!) or at least re-home them if they decide to update.

I have to imagine there would be another old home owner looking to backdate their kitchen that’d snatch those puppies up in a heartbeat. Just please don’t demo them!
