Once you step onto this property you'll immediately feel the history. The current owners are only the 4th to own this gem; it having been owned for generations by the Denton family dating back to the mid-1800s. An original log cabin built in 1860 came to be known locally as the “Girls Ranch” when 11 daughters (of 13 Denton children) were born and raised there. The current house replaced the log cabin in 1922 and remains a stunning example of architecture of the period, complete with porches surrounding the entire home, and a dog trot through the center (now enclosed). The house sits in a grove of stately trees surrounded by rolling pasture, all of which became a stunning backdrop for the 2006 movie titled "When I Find the Ocean", starring Lee Majors and Diane Ladd.
