Every now and then a house will come along that is so magnificent... so rare... that we humble real estate agents worry that we will not properly do it justice. For most houses, you try to write a description that properly covers all of the features of the home - and that would look like this: For sale is this well maintained older brick home that features 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, hardwood floors, new HVAC and roof. Schedule your showing today! ***BUT*** That description, while accurate, wouldn't even begin to do this historic home justice. The basic description leaves out the fact that this 1912 home has been maintained with museum level standards with the utmost respect to its history. It would leave out the fact that it started its life as a lock master's house for old lock 24. It would leave out that every single detail of this home, from the original hardwood floors, to the 2 gas fireplaces, to the beautiful woodwork throughout, will almost bring a tear to your eye for the beauty that those features possess. Guys. This one is special... I mean REALLY special. Schedule a time to come and see this masterpiece in person today... because this description just doesn't cut it.
