Wow! This really makes me think of my great aunt’s farm house. The area is right. It almost looks like it. It’s not exactly the same though. It’s been a lot of years since I was there. And she is long gone now. I almost wonder if this is it? I loved this area as a kid.

Great house, but I’ll take the barn!

I’ll like that kitchen once I’ve removed all the doors from those new wall hung cabinets. There is a lot of original, unpainted woodwork in this house. And it looks like almost all of the windows are original. I wonder if there was ever an actual driveway. At this price, replacing the furnace wouldn’t be a deal breaker. Hmm..I wonder if those baseboard vents could go at the same time…along with the budget, no doubt.

It’s a lot of land to care for but being mostly wooded ought to make it far easier than an endless sea of lawn. And on a hot summer day, it’s likely to be a cooler place than on the lawn.

Now I’m confused. Looking at all the aerials, and focusing on the wooded portion, it looks like much less than 11 acres, surrounded by farmland.

Did you notice that the only original trim left is on the second floor. Almost all of the first floor ahs been updated to small modern molding and replacement windows.

Love it! Somehow I’d have to make the garage closer to the house though. Surprised that there doesn’t seem to be a pantry unless it is where the washer/dryer is. Nice acreage, good barn. All it needs is a chicken coop. Thanks Kelly.

Except for the second floor, most of the entire first floor has none of its original woodwork and trim left. Did anyone notice there is probably an original piece of doorway fretwork in the attic?

Property and barns are really cool though.
