Seabird and Ocean Air ~ A safe haven from the busy world! A turn-of-the-century home on 8+ acres in need of restoration. Victorian detailing from widow's walk to some exterior windows, rooms with large bay windows, wrap-around porch/verandah, grand front staircase, kitchen pass-through, and butler's pantry. It has a full bath upstairs, and half bath downstairs, and newer thermo-pane windows installed, but it still needs lots of work. Winding staircase leads up to 4 bedrooms (2 with bays) and a study. Attic stairs lead to 2 more bedrooms and plenty of storage rooms, more than enough space for the family and guest. I am so fascinated by the posts from Nova Scotia. I feel drawn to it, like it is a place that I would really like to live. My grandpa’s family came from Nova Scotia originally.

I would like to see some interior shots. The location is a dream for someone who is as crazy about the ocean as I am.

It looks as if they started thinking about colors on the outside. It could use some paint on the outside but I’d go with a more historic color scheme. That, along with bringing the front porch back would go a long way into making this home shine, at least on the outside. I’m with Angie on seeing some interior shots, though!

It’s depressing when they don’t give pictures of the interior. It’s like someone invites you to their house, but when you get there the door is locked.
