  2. I’m sure I’ve seen this house! My husband and I worked in Upstate NY back in 2011 (for a short time because our construction site got washed away in the storms from Hurricane Irene), and we returned for a year from 2012-2013. We were working on the dam in Gilboa, so this was only about 30 miles from us. We used to do a lot of driving and exploring. We fell in love with Upstate NY. Such a beautiful place full of forests and waterfalls and streams everywhere. And the history!!!
    This is one adorable house.

    Nice house with a nice price tag. I’ve been through that area many times when I used to travel route 28 all the time. It looks to have been an un-heated summer cottage as there is no evidence of radiators. Also the addition of wood stoves and wall mounted electric units lends to the theory of no heating system. That would explain all the peeling wallpaper. Still a good deal though, especially considering Ulster Counties property taxes which are still affordable.
