How very unusual to see a substantially sized, authentic log lodge smack in the middle of a regular old neighborhood; especially having been built as such. Feels like it should be in a national park somewhere. Can’t remember ever seeing a woody like this without the woodsy. Heheheh.

    Great house for sure.

I’m not too big of a log cabin kind of guy, but I really like this one. I think that is maybe because of house nice condition it is, the size, and that it is an in-town house, not out in the middle on nowhere like many are. Even has a pool! But the biggest surprise is the garage. Don’t think I’ve ever since a log garage, at least not on an original historic log house – and a 2-storey sizable one at that. A nice looking street too. I like unusual houses and this one fits the bill. Very impressive.

Looks like it sold for less than 1/2 the asking only 2 years ago. I wonder if the nice condition represents a lot of recent work put into it to bring it up to this level. Regardless, it looks like a nice property for the price. !/2 the price would seem like a crazy good deal.

Exactly what I was thinking!! The only thing that would make this home even sweeter would be for it to be in the country surrounded by trees, by a lake or river & views of the mountains!! Fabulous home!!
