A majestic mansion sitting on over half an acre on a corner lot, The Woodworth House is an absolute masterpiece. This historical home is truly one of a kind with 14 1/2' ceilings and original hardwood flooring. The owners have kept it maintained and updated over the years. Many artistic intricacies in the woodwork, entryways, staircase, widows and throughout the entire home. New exterior paint and privacy fence in 2020. Healthy grapefruit, lemon, and orange trees on the property. Quiet neighbors/neighborhood and located near the Public Library and Courthouse. This is truly a unique and beautiful home that you must see to appreciate. More photos and drone footage coming soon.

I seem to vaguely recall this being shared before but at that time it needed some maintenance. Looks great now and the 1900 construction date looks spot on based on the exterior and interior details. The house has a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark plaque which does not afford it any extra protection but publicly recognizes its significance.

My first thought was it looked like a grand steam paddle wheeler coming down the Mississippi.
