Check out this 1925 historic home in a thriving community of Grenfell just over an hour from Regina. When you enter through the front door you notice the detail of fine craftmanship starting with the original door with oval glass and ornate design. As you pass through you are in the spacious hallway where there are many rooms that branch off. The library (DEN) has the most character with the authentic wood fireplace and wood mantel. On the other side you enter into the front room (living room) that is very bright with south exposure. This room is separated from the formal dining with pocket doors From the dining room you the kitchen has a pass through with a counter and a pantry. This 2.5 storey home has 4 bedrooms on the second floor and 1 bathroom that has a large soaker tub. The 3 level has a unique studio- loft with a great view. The ceilings are 9' high and the some of the floors still have the original hardwood. The 3 staircases are still very solid and the walls are covered in a veneer. Check out the original brick carriage house in the spacious corner lot. Added bonus is the double detached car garage (1986) 16' x 32'. U shaped driveway, a wrap around verandah and a very large open deck off the back complete this property. The home needs a lot of work and will need someone that knows how to restore and complete it. Must appreciate the character to made this home yours. Serious inquiries appreciated.
