This gorgeous gem is waiting for a new owner to call it home and fall in love...... Fall in love with the over 15 acre parcel housing this beautiful home and several outbuildings. The home itself features a spacious, opulent floor plan with lovely features you won't find in most homes. There are two wood-burning fireplaces, peg and plank wood flooring, wide plank flooring, crown and dental molding, picture frame molding in the dining room, multiple built-ins, arched doorways, black walnut paneling in the library, 9' ceilings, dual stair cases and SO MUCH MORE!! The first floor has an over-sized kitchen, mud/laundry room, formal dining room, library, living room, music/flex room, two bedrooms and two full baths. There's also an attached garage with mechanical room and storage above. Upstairs you'll find 4 more ample bedrooms, a sitting area and two more full baths. There is a walk-up/stand-up attic perfect for extra storage. Outside you'll find a 20 x 40 storage shed, an old animal shed, and a 40 x 50 concrete block detached garage with 3 overhead doors and electric. Note that entrance to shop is subject to easement granted by neighboring property. Note that 2 back rooms of home had previous water damage and seller hired plumber to address source of leaks. At this time sellers believe leaks have been addressed but they do not plan to repair damage to walls/ceilings, etc. Home has some updates like central AC (1st floor only) and tankless hot water. Septic believed to be sized for 8 full-time residents. Property is currently being farmed and buyer may be committed to continue farming depending on time frame of closing. With a little love this beautiful home can easily be brought back to it's original glory! Couple all that with the various outbuildings and large parcel of land - you'll want to jump at this opportunity! Septic sized for 8 full time residents.

Wow, nicely done Revival! The details really make the place.

Absolutely lovely! This home was made for a family to live and love in. Can’t you just here the little kids zooming around with their trikes and the bigger ones practicing their music lessons? I can see this home as a multi-generational home, as I’m sure at one time it may have been. Plenty of room for everybody and so well maintained there is almost nothing to do but move it. Gotta love it!

  3. That massive front hall makes me wonder if this is a reno of a much smaller, older cabin or house–basically, that one room was the footprint of the original and the rest of the house was grafted onto it!

I fell in love with this beautiful house. So much elegance to look at, yet it feels like a livable family place. In the square balustrades & newel post(s) and in the proportions of a few rooms I see a hint of Art Deco sneaking in, not surprising in the 20s. Anyway, gorgeous place, thanks for the cheerer-upper, Kelly!

The house is beautiful with some nice details, inside and out. I love the tiled bathrooms.

Looking at the street view and the satellite image, it looks as if the house next door is also included, assuming they haven’t torn it down. (it still shows on the street view) How cool would that be to live in one while restoring the other!

I can’t even imagine what a home of this quality would cost to build today. It was clearly built to be grand, and no expense was spared. Somebody is going to get a steal at this price.

I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a house of this era before – but this one is a heart-stealer! Such a beauty, and so little work to be done. Those bathrooms are great!
Anyone else notice that there seems to be an exterior door in every room on the first floor? That seems unusual.

No, I hadn’t noticed that about the exterior doors, but just went back through the pics & you’re right! Potentially a whole lotta locking up at night! 😉

  11. A fabulous house. A great buy. One of the best locations in America… just 25 miles to the wonderful Mid-Atlantic beaches. I want! 🙂
