Constructed in 1937, it is one of the few examples in Long Beach of Streamline Moderne architecture and represents the progressive modernism that heralds the future. It is suggestive of a ship in motion with a design of exterior curving corners, strips of horizontal window bands, and a pronounced overhang. The interior is largely intact with the original details of moldings and built-in lights. The property has a large lot, with a detached two car garage.
