With some exterior paint this house would be perfect. It’s a shame Mississippi has such a horrible economy. I truly think they have some of the prettiest homes there.

Comfortable home, just needs decorating to yield its past flair. What about the tree, should it go or stay?

That tree outside! Wow. Sorry, it has to go–I agree with others. Too close to house for root system and proximity damage to home (do something cool with the wood). Also, 9-foot ceilings? Either the scale is off, angle is off but those appear to be 12-14 foot ceilings above the doors and rooms with fireplace, especially above the transoms, which looks like they’re sitting the standard 12′ height, makes the ceilings more like the 14-15 (!!) feet I suspect they are. We have 10 foot ceilings in our 1912 Craftsman Prairie. These ceilings are SUPER tall. Wish the pictures had better lighting…so gloomy, though a few photos seemed to capture some good lighting and sun. Anyone else thing the stated ceiling height is way off? –just look at that 3-tiered chandelier–Although in the photo, its placement doesn’t look like its at the entry exactly….I need to go back and look!
