Build date on record is 1920 but that’s a little late for some of what is here (window design, interior woodwork.)

I like this place — and the fascinating structure in the back yard that comes with it! The house appears to have been built c. 1880 as an Italianate which was later remodeled c. 1915 with some Colonial Revival elements (including a gabled roof). The house is fortunate to retain much original fabric in spite of the later updates. Lots of great woodwork, doors and hardware! Original windows, too!

They left out the money shot! (Staircase photo)

  4. What is in the back yard??!! That looks like a very old shop of some sort. I would have a lot of fun investigating that building.

The house sure could be a beauty. Paint, wallpaper, spruce up the floors, etc.

Ya, totally agree, I would love to see more on the history of this one. Brick on the outside looks good, but overhang and much of the exterior wood needs attention. Would like to see shot of the staircase! I do like the cabinets in the kitchen, quite nice. Love the nice-size claw-foot tubs, nice fixtures in the bathrooms. Very nice chandelier in the 3rd photo, happy to see that has been spared. Looks like this poor baby has been sitting vacant for some time. All in all, for the price, this would be a worthy project.
