Welcome to a slice of history. This beautiful, victorian-style home was built two world wars and 20 presidents ago in 1906. If this place could speak, it would tell of the building of Clanton, since its on one of the main inlets into our town. The home sits on a half-acre lot with a beautiful garden, an apple tree, and a pear tree already in place. The huge deck that wraps around the front is perfect for watching storms roll in, and if they get too out of hand, there is storm shelter on-site to keep your family safe. Come see it today!

Super cute! I half-expected to see Jem and Scout talking with Atticus at the kitchen table!
What a great reference. How about Cal in the kitchen??
This is gorgeous! Just wish it was posted last week. We were there, could have seen it then! This is exactly what we’re looking for and in the area!!!
Sweet house.
Very pretty home, I love the fence too!!!!!!!!!!
First winter picture looks like it should be on a calendar. Lovely house. It would suit me to a “T”.
Clanton is a small town of about 8,600. Historical sources say it was named after a Confederate general from the Civil War in 1866 and the community was incorporated in 1873. However, an impromptu streeview tour showed few Victorian era houses still remaining along the major streets. Nice cottage of the period here with surviving period porch details. I imagine snow in Alabama is very seldom seen hence the rare snow photos.
Love this home. Awesome transoms!!
And a storm cellar. With all of the crazy weather, that could be a big selling point.
Love the large bedrooms!
The wood floors on the inside look great.

What a darling place. I love all the touches the owners have done to the place!
This is a ravishingly pretty house with interesting and unusual objects that seem to have been acquired over time, and which reflect the intentions and characters of the owners. The whole place looks blessedly undecorated and mercifully unstaged. I think I could live up to this house.
I love this house. I think it is calling name. Love the size of all the rooms and the storage space in the kitchen.
