No description yet, it’s brand new to the market so may show later.

I wasn’t expecting the interior to be almost perfect compared to the exterior. I wonder what the reason is for the wall torn out in picture 15? Could it have been a doorway? The exterior will possibly take a lot of work, but the money invested would be well worth it and much less if you had to redo the interior.

    • It is curious especially since there’s a beautiful columned door just a few feet away. maybe it could have been a built-in from a later date that someone decided to take out? Love the mysteries that old houses hide.?

I was surprised at the interior as well. Someone was well started on sprucing it up. Wish it had more land, but what a beauty. II wonder about that wall as well- doesn’t look like an exterior wall.

Beautiful stair and hall. It’s hard to believe that there are only three bedrooms in that size house. Perhaps the ceiling are low in an attic space, or they are not counting rooms under the roof with knee walls as bedrooms.

There is also a door/hole behind the dresser in the same room in picture no13. There is nothing I don’t like about this house though

I love this house! I would move there in a minute if I could! I could even paint and re-roof it myself. What a wonder.

Too bad that white paint on that stairwell and panels couldn’t have been put on the exterior instead. Those turned spindles on the stair are magnificent but you lose the detail in white paint.

Beautiful exterior and amazing staircase. For that price you could almost hire someone to paint the outside.

The interior is nice but the exterior could be stunning with the right paint scheme. It has very nice details that look fairly intact, barring the porch railings.

What a surprise that interior is!! I hope someone gets paint and roofing done SOON on the exterior before it starts to affect the interior… this is way too beautiful a house to let decay set in.

Wow, that was a HUGE surprise! The inside is pretty incredible and the outside is a nightmare. Guess that is what you get when you judge the book, or the house, by it’s cover!

We drove past this house several times on a visit to Maine last summer. We absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately it didn’t go up for sale until we were back in Texas and it was already pending sale when I found it. Richmond is a nice little town with everything you need.
