Wow! I was not expecting the interior to look so nice. What a beauty that needs some TLC to be perfect!
Columbia River Gorge, WA
Enchanting exterior! Gorgeous land, and I was shocked to see a VERY nice interior.
MO
Agree that the bathtub has to go but wow, wasn’t expecting the interior. Needs some TLC and perhaps different paint choices but overall very nice!
Chestatee, GA
Posted earlier today, later it switched to pending sale.Back to active (although if you are interested, check with the agent as it may be an MLS error.)Whoa. Fallen hard for this one. Glad it found a new owner!
I love this one! I get the feeling the owner or builder was old school, opting for this older model over a more current Queen Anne, with an extra helping of jigsawn decoration. The preservation of the exterior is extraordinary – just needs a little color imo.

The exterior has so much charm and character, it’s begging for a period correct paint scheme! Those floors! I want to just lie down on them and take in the beauty of the wood! Congratulations to the new owners on their very special house!
Cadiz, OH
Seems like a true bargain with the 9.5 acres of picturesque land and numerous outbuildings-someone apparently agrees because it has a pending on it. Hope they consider Michael’s color recommendations to bring out all of the beauty in this home.
MUST you break our hearts by showing us a pending with 9 ACRES?????
Chestatee, GA
It wasn’t pending when I posted it.
My sincere apologies.
I agree! That tub is awful!

Well, with any luck the new buyer isn’t planning on splitting the land and tearing down this lovely lady. Gingerbread everywhere. Great interior. Being swallowed up by the ivy. Get out the pruning shears and a tool belt. Wonderful home.

When I originally posted this it switched to pending sale within an hour of so of being on the site. It’s popped up back as active although if you are interested I’d check with the agent to be sure it really is. Thought I’d move this to the front page in case someone had been interested before.
Sedalia, MO
Someone already said it but I’ll say it again. Enchanting.
You beat me to it. I went to comment on the impropriety of that tub, but you had already said it!

This is one of those houses where I kinda like the all white, even though I know it’s not correct. Gives it that delicious wedding-cake look.
Youngstown, OH
Was SO NOT expecting that interior…
Enchanted with that barrel ceiling in the entry hall, among other things. How does that work with the second floor? Also intrigued by the patched place in the floor of the third room.
I don’t think the ceiling is actually curved. I think the camera lens is causing distortion.
If the camera lens was causing distortion then the horizontal casing and transom over the entry door would be similarly distorted. The ceiling has a slight, but pleasant, vault to it. The builders found many ways to have fun with beaded board in this house!
Otis Orchards, WA
Exactly right! The barrel vault in this room happens below the floor joists of the second floor. That’s why we see the vault come down to the casing above the entry on each side of the door and sidelites.
Good point, AO. I cheerfully retract my statement.
Wow. In addition to the other comments, I’m impressed at the antique wiring, surface mounted in some of the rooms.
Beautiful…Love the House!!

Great jigsaw trim.
