This house had a 60s makeover & is still wondering what hit it, lol. Bathrooms are happily original — green & pink is yummily 30s. It looks like a comfortable family-raising house in a stable well-kept neighborhood. The patio landscaping is very pretty.

1930’s Colonial Revivals are almost always so dang cool! I’d put vintage appliances in that glorious kitchen, and leave it alone! I’d find a peach sink for the peach and green bath, and green toilet and sink for the green bathroom (or pink! or lavender!) and leave them alone.

    Awesome house!

Love love love! Knotty pine/lino in the kitchen is yummy, and that basement–well, I really couldn’t think of anything to improve it at all!

  4. This house, as pictured, might be mistaken for a vintage Marx lithographed tin dollhouse, straight from the 1950s. Leave It To Beaver!

This neighborhood in Detroit looks like it had some real gems, am I correct in my assumption?

That attic would make a divine master-bedroom suite. Love the tile baths, too.

The neighboring houses are great too!
