One of a kind colonial style home built in 1896. Original heart of pine floors along with tongue and groove beadboard walls & ceilings. Beautiful wrap around porch overlooks the large corner lot. Many updates to include all new electric in 2001 and plumbing in 2005. The home comes with an adjoining lot which brings the property total to nearly an acre. Convenient location that's 20 minutes to Nashville. The home is livable but will need work and is being sold as is to settle an estate.

What a great house! Really had me raising an eyebrow several times wondering what is original, and what may have been changed slightly later. I can’t decide really what exactly is going on here. Not to say that it doesn’t work, because it does; just doesn’t seem all of 1896 to me, for various reasons.

The remaining, generation 1, exposed, nob and tube wiring is curious! I really like it. That’s something you hardly ever see. As long as it’s just servicing a couple of light bulbs it’s perfectly fine IMO. Cool.

Those center halls are monumental! The ground floor, front to back, still open, hall with it’s (later?) fireplace is especially dramatic, inviting, and rare. Wow.
