    Beautiful home. Even though not period, I like the kitchen and I especially like the bookshelves on the 2nd floor landing. What a perfect spot for a reading nook. Replacing the wrap porch would be a must if she were mine.

    It’s a beautiful house. I love the windows in the staircase with the stain glass at the top. I wonder what the house looked like with the porch as Kelly mentioned. I’m betting the house takes on quite a different look from the outside.

    That’s right next to the front door, just above the existing mailbox – maybe the original mail slot that was later covered by siding. It’s fun to find little features like that!
