I love this simple midwestern family home. I hope it gets loved and not flipped.

I LIKE THIS HOUSE!!! The only thing I would do is probably rework the bathroom to a different part of the house, I don’t think the butlers pantry would’ve doubled as a bathroom in its heyday. The only thing I would do is remove the carpeting, paneling in the one room and new paint. I love the stairwell entry and the rest of this house.

This is awfully nice. Any ideal what the outlet looking thing is in the cabinet over the kitchen sink?

I like that the woodwork,With the exception of the kitchen, hasn’t been painted. The whole house is charming and it doesn’t look as if it needs much to make it shine. While I agree with DJZ about the half bath location on the main floor, this house was most likely like a lot of others this size at the time period and didn’t have a main floor bath. This may have been the only location they had to add it! Those cabinets in the butlers pantry (half bath) are pretty nice though!
