    Bethel has a NRHP District for its ship carpenter’s houses, which are smaller but have similar detailing to this one. Maybe this was built a little later for merchant and postmaster William T. Moore, whose store was adjacent. Fine old home in a cool little place!,_Delaware)

    The shot taken from the end of the pier looking back towards the house sold me.

    This is a treasure. Looks like a peaceful place with a lot of character. I wouldn’t change much other than some new paint and replace some tile flooring.

    It’s interesting how the living room and dining room both have a very old, untouched feel and that gradually fades as you see the rest of the house.
