''Larchwood Place'' located in Flandreau is the historic Pettigrew home. This beautiful Victorian home sits on a wooded 1 acre lot with a classic estate approach front lawn. This gem of South Dakota history is a mix of Victorian and Greek Revival architectures. The fine woodwork in the front and back parlors was made from butternut and black ash crates used to send the family furnishings from Vermont in 1878. The house has been renovated, but retains much of its vintage charm. The town lists Larchwood Place as one of its historic treasures. Own something classic and entertain your guests in the aura of a bygone time.
