Breathtaking historic brick building in the heart of Stanfield OR. Served as the high school since it was built in 1920 and later as a church in the late 90s. The down stairs was updated around this time including a new AC system. Limitless potential for investors now as a community center, school, church with it updated theater room and seating for a few hundred people. Could be a care or rehabilitation center for the those in need.

I love old schools. So much nostalgia. Makes me want to go back in time and enjoy everything I didn’t appreciate before…the chalkboards, the little desks…the rectangular slices of pizza…?

I love them too Cora. This one reminds me of my own grade school in Okla. It’s very nostalgic. Stanfield is north of me, east from the Dalles, which translates into less rain and warmer temps. But very pretty land and this could be SO many things! Artist’s studios, maybe small apartments. . .

How cool would this be?! I have boys who would be stoked to have a basketball court IN THEIR HOME, they play guitars & drums, they would have their own stage, their very own concert room IN THEIR HOME!! They’ve always got plenty of friends over, shoot, their friends could move in & I may never know lol! Just awesome! I had friends that owned & lived in a much older farm town school in Texas many years ago & it was just super cool! The girls had a trampoline in their room & the boys had a basketball goal! Homework was done together in one of the classrooms left as a classroom, Thursday nights were family fun night & part of the kids “chores” (there were 7 kids!) was to put together a family “play” & they performed on the schools stage! I always loved that place & wished I could have something so cool! Sadly whoever lives there now hasn’t been as good to it as my friend & her family were.. Wish I had bought it long ago but I was single & no kids, that’s alotta home to be alone! Even still, if Id only knew then what I know now! And I sigh..
