Own a Piece of St. John’s History, this 5 Bedroom 5.5 Bathroom Registered Heritage property is available for Sale. Original plaster moldings and hardwoods throughout and an impressive staircase taking you up to the third floor with exceptional views. This home would be ideal for a bed and breakfast. The main floor has a large living area and formal dining room as well as the well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and plenty of windows overlooking the rear yard. The Second and Third Floors host the 5 bedrooms each with an ensuite and each with its own charm. There is space on the second floor that is currently functioning as an office and being on the back of the house; takes advantage of the three-tiered deck. As impressive as this property is, a little TLC would bring this property to another level and ideally restored to the former opulence it once was. This property is to be sold AS IS, and all offers to be accompanied by the Vendors Schedule A.

Great space! Great hardwood floors! Great view of the town from the upstairs windows! One of my favorite vacations was to St. John’s, Newfoundland. Walked all around the city. Nice people. The absolute best fish & chips!

I love this place!!! The colors, the windows, that view, so charming and extremely livable. I’m a big fan of the band Great Big Sea so St. John & Newfoundland are on my travel wishlist.

Nice place, but I wonder if those fireplace mantels were replacements. They just seem a little plain for the period.

Shingles, exterior paint, the fixes on the inside, and I’d move right in!! And then get a boat and my fishing license.

Really loving the natural looking wood floors.

I’m not a fan of some of the bedroom colors, and it looks as if the backyard needs some elbow grease, but wow! I love this house! I wonder why it’s being sold “as is?” As is, suits me!

Always the pessimist. I’m worried about the plaster that’s fallen to the floor in one of the photos. The exterior photo looks like the roof is older as the neighboring townhome appears to have a newer shingle roof.

Yeah!!! Look at this, a home in my little corner of the universe!! Have gone past this house whenever I go roaming about downtown which is often because I live in the downtown and LOVE it. Have often wondered what these houses (and this one) looked like inside. We have a lot of row housing in the downtown and the houses tend to be painted in various colours. I’m not sure if this was a Bed and Breakfast at one time. I know there are B&B’s in the area. Hey, Denise Lynn, glad you enjoyed our fish and chips!! However, Marja, I don’t think you’ll be seeing Great Big Sea. When Sean left the band in 2015, it hasn’t done much of anything, the remaining lads doing their own thing. It is now a three piece brand as opposed to a three piece band (chuckle)!!

I think it is ASIS due to a judicial sale, probably a foreclosure or some sort of legal action- divorce death etc as the realtor asks for a schedule A which spells this sort of thing out
