Somebody love me again! Historically significant "Pottersville" area of Edgefield, SC. Step back in time with this property with many structures still standing. 1800's log cabin with stacked stone fireplace, cottage, storage bldgs, 3800 sq. ft. craftsman style house, large metal workshop, nice pond and almost 4 acres! A great opportunity to renovate a wonderful piece of history. Home needs a new roof and has suffered water damage to the ceiling. Appears to be structurally sound and home inspections are recommended. Being sold AS-IS and must be shown by appointment only. No trespassing signs are in place. 3 bedrooms upstairs have walk-in closets. 6 bedrooms total, 2 full bathrooms, Formal Dining Room. Wrap around porch, all brick patio with brick wall around it, long paved driveway wraps through the property. Great opportunity!

Goodness! This is really a charming house. The exterior is so cool. And so much potential. Even the out buildings are neat. Great property.

Wow! So much potential! I love the log cabin. And the other outbuildings are very cute. You could really do a lot with this property. I wonder how big that pond is.

Measuring the pond on Google Map along axes parallel and perpendicular to the road east of the property: 260 feet by 170 feet with an area of a little less than an acre – roughly 25% of the property’s size.

Would love to see more pictures of this house and the insides of the out buildings…. Shame it’s on the East Coast instead of the West Coast, would be tempted to go and have a major look at it.

    So much potential.
I can’t imagine what’s been stashed in the out buildings.
Hope there’s no gators in the pond.
    Seriously,this is a wonderful property.

Absolutely amazing property!!! Amazing potential!!! The house does need some love. Some ceiling damage is clearly shown. And the kitchen cupboards look pretty rough. I would probably re-do the kitchen in a Craftsman style. The bathroom window is very pretty, but the bathroom itself isn’t shown. The arches along the front porch are unusual for a Craftsman. Original or added later? The outbuildings are so suprisingly different, I can’t help imagining how to use them! Who wouldn’t love having their own log cabin? And pond? I agree with comment above, more photos of the house and inside the outbuildings would be nice, but the one photo shows the log cabin being used as a storage shed, so perhaps they’re too full of stuff to get in and photograph properly. I would love to turn that log cabin into an entertaining space. A long colonial/prim table and chairs to host holiday dinners with a fire crackling in the fireplace. Antique buffet tables filled with platters of food and drinks…. Now I want to go look at cookbooks and plan my imaginary dinner parties……

The front porch intrigues me. It’s like it’s showing a bit of “South-West” influence? Not your typical Craftsman, that’s for sure! And as for the outbuildings, oh be still my heart! Love it!

Looks like it went back off the market today. On the market for three days? Drats. I was just getting ready to pack my bags.

This home had a signed contract on the day it went on the market. I have seen this happen before when an agent buys a property because it’s a great steal.
